The data controller for personal data collected through the menudia.app platform is Menudia, with registered office in Barcelona, Catalonia. You can contact us at privacitat@menudia.app.

2. Data we collect

We collect personal data that you provide directly when registering on the Platform, such as your name, email address and dietary preferences. We may also collect browsing and location data with your consent.

Browsing data includes IP address, browser type, pages visited and browsing time. This data is collected through cookies and similar technologies, as explained in our Cookie Policy.

3. Purpose of processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes: provision of the requested service, personalisation of the user experience, sending commercial communications (with your consent), improvement of the Platform and compilation of statistics.

Location data is processed exclusively to show you nearby restaurants and daily menus, and is not shared with third parties.

4. Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing of your data is the performance of the service contract (for service provision), consent (for sending commercial communications and geolocation) and legitimate interest (for service improvement and fraud prevention).

5. Data retention

Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Account data is retained while the account is active. Once deletion is requested, data will be deleted within a maximum of 30 days, except data that must be retained due to legal obligation.

6. Data subject rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, object to processing, restrict processing and data portability of your personal data. You can exercise these rights by sending an email to privacitat@menudia.app, attaching a copy of your identity document.

If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with current regulations, you can file a complaint with the Catalan Data Protection Authority (apdcat.gencat.cat).

8. International transfers

Personal data may be transferred to service providers located outside the European Economic Area, provided that adequate safeguards exist in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In particular, we use hosting and analytics services that may process data in the United States under the EU-US data protection framework.
